In a wonderful, surprise holiday development, Alan has been awarded a 1-year $100,000 Research Starter Grant in Bioinformatics from the PhRMA Foundation!!!
The grant is for developing improved methods for predicting accurate structures of potential RNA drug targets using molecular simulations.
Concurrently, we have also been awarded 1.5 million CPU-hours on the NSF XSEDE supercomputing grid, which will enable us to study larger, more complicated RNAs than ever before! Thanks to all the hard work of our lab members and collaborators, 2015 is off to a very strong start!
